Welcome back to Series 6 of The Tap and Go! Today we are joined by Welsh International Sevens player Morgan Macrae. He chats to us about his transfer from XV's to VII's and the speed at which it happened is incredible. In August of 2023, Morgans life changed overnight. Suffering a cardiac arrest, it was down to his girlfriend Kitty to perform CPR until the ambulance arrived. Without Kitty's training, Morgan would not be here today. Morgan has come on to create awareness and chat about that day and what has happened to him since. Not only is be bidding to be the first person to suffer a cardiac arrest and play the game afterwards, but he and Kitty are now campaigning for CPR training to part of the standard British driving test. This is a really inspirational story and one which I'd urge everyone to take half an hour out to listen to.
