226. Ever wanted to eavesdrop on two mates having dinner after a movie? Well, now’s your chance.
In this very unstructured (and very real) episode of Tailoring Talk Magazine, Bobby and Jon hit Le Comptoir Libanais on London’s South Bank after seeing the new Superman at the BFI IMAX. With food arriving mid-record, mocktails in hand, and no Alex to keep them on track, the conversation covers:
🍽️ A totally impromptu food review
🎬 First reactions to Superman
🎮 Bobby’s love affair with the Nintendo Switch 2
📱 iOS 18 & iPhone 17 colour leaks
⌚️ Apple Watch Ultra 3 & health tracking tech
🥙 The mystery of vegan food that tastes like meat
😂 And why dry chicken wings make for great podcast drama
It’s messy, meandering, full of mouthfuls (literally), and somehow still insightful. If you’ve ever debated phone upgrades over baklava or wondered what it’s like to record a podcast mid-meal, this one’s for you.

221. Roberto here! When my BMW M2 G87 had to go in for some TLC at CT Carbon, I expected a courtesy car with a bit of punch. Maybe another M car. Maybe an RS3. Instead... I was handed a basic, manual MG3.
I haven’t driven a manual in over 20 years — and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. But what started as a frustrating downgrade quickly became a surprising day of reflection.
In this episode, I review the MG MG3, share what it taught me about the cars we take for granted, and why I ended the day with a whole new appreciation for my BMW — and driving in general.
Whether you're into hot hatches, M cars, or just love the open road, this one’s for you.
