"Irish Mist" formed in the late 1970’s, taking part in national competitions, performing at weddings and festivals while also raising funds for local charities. They are noted for their success at the Slogadh competition and were the first winners of the Síamsa Sráide Busking Competition.

The group features Monica Benson, Mary, Joan and Nuala Grealy, Michelle Campbell, Francie McNicholas, Angela Campbell and Marian Thornburgh.
