Eileen Bray moved country, found a new career, her voice and a whole new community all at the same time. And today she has come to share with us what that is like, to share that age is not a limiting factor, our soul is ageless and don’t buy into the narrative that we have a sell by date.
Finding our voice as women is one of the most challenging in a world that is loud, full of noise and is unconsciously biased towards the male figure. Eileen is a light, a way shower to show that at any age you can step into your own light, and she invites us to find our own way, whatever it is your soul desires.
Eileen is a breath of fresh air, her lightness and fun is contagious but she is also very serious and commitment to her calling as a soul singer. She is otherwise known as Celtic Kirtan where she offers live kirtans, performances, voice workshops, voice overs and is a celebrant.
The song at the end is Eist and is performed by Eileen Bray featuring Sol Chase on mandolin recorded at Imbolg 2025 in Galway at a Celtic Kirtan gathering.
