He works on the development of shoe styles, lasts, material selection, analysing lab results, and responding to them. Martin's been responsible for the development of 300 product lines per year including the optimisation of the associated US $100 million manufacturing costs. He's also procured 40 million square feet of materials per year through 35 Suppliers and 270 specifications!
