From Indicted to Invited | Acts 2:23, 36
What if the greatest crime in history — crucifying God in the flesh — became the very doorway into salvation? In this message we follow Peter’s Pentecost sermon and discover that the words “you crucified Him” extend beyond the first-century crowd to every one of us. Our sins demanded the cross, and true repentance means more than regret over yesterday’s failures — it is deep sorrow over our complicity in Christ’s death.
Yet the wonder of the gospel is this: the indicted are also the invited. Those guilty of the cross are invited into forgiveness, adoption, holiness, and eternal joy with Christ. This is the invitation that compels us to obey Him with gratitude and to live as His own.
