Tim Lightell joins the podcast to discuss hanging out at strip clubs.
** The club TSG is discussing is NOT the Strand...although that was a club downtown, it was the OLD Chelsea **
The Chelsea Theatre, located at West 4th and Wyandotte in downtown Kansas City, opened on June 15, 1972, as an adult theater in a converted warehouse and operated for 28 years until closing on June 15, 2000. Known for its relatively clean and stylish atmosphere compared to similar venues, it hosted adult films and live burlesque. After closing, it briefly reopened in 2000 as a live performance space for the Late Night Theatre troupe before being demolished in 2001 to make way for new development.
