The Stoic Sentinel focuses on the practical application of the ancient Greek and Roman philosophy of Stoicism to improve the profession of law enforcement. Stoicism focuses on virtuous living, self-awareness, discipline, and controlling what is in our power to lead more fulfilled lives. It is tailor-made for the stresses and challenges of policing. As an LEO of 8 years, I have used Stoicism to greatly improve my life and career and will share what I've learned on my journey to help others do the same.

Bill's book was the first (and only) resource I found when I began this podcast involving Stoicism and policing. It is a regular read of mine and I can't recommend it highly enough. Bill and I fought our way through scheduling conflicts, my crazy FTO schedule with the new department, and lots of technical difficulties to bring you a great conversation.
