In Episode 78 of The Steak Lad Experience, I sat down with AFL legend, Dyson Heppell.
Funnily enough I had actually reached out to Dyson in late 2024 for a chat but our schedules didn’t align at the time so to eventually have the chance to sit down with him recently to enjoy a Steak as well as a deep chat was a real treat!!!
During our conversation we touched on his competitive attributes that were displayed throughout his early childhood, some of the notable lows/highlights from his career in the AFL, the recent challenges he has had to overcome following his retirement, how he has found meaning/purpose in building out his clothing company “Haych the Label” and much much more.
This episode also features a highlight I compiled from his best memories with Haych which was one of my favourite moments on the show to date!
