In Episode 73 of The Steak Lad Experience, I sat down with AFL legend, Steve Johnson.
To have the chance to sit down with him was a surreal moment for myself personally given that I grew up watching him when he was at the peak of his powers.
Our conversation revolved around all aspects of his incredible career including the intense passion he showed for the game from a young age, some of the mistakes he made in the earlier stages of his tenure in the AFL, the struggles of life after retirement (specifically in regard to the injuries he suffered), the competitive side of his personality and much much more.
Having had the chance to listen to this conversation in full, I am convinced it will show a different side to him as a person and hope anyone listening feels the same.
