Daniel Smith was selected for the South Africa U19 squad and was appointed as captain. This is after the talented left-handed batsmen proved his worth by scoring 12 centuries during his time at SACS.   

Daniel manages pressure well and it is evident in how he handles himself and tough situations are something that Daniel thrives in.
