Sue Stockdale talks to Peter Brouwer from the Netherlands about his love for speed and why he enjoys racing in the Sports 2000 Championship in the UK.
Peter’s passion for speed began as a teenager in karting, and he subsequently moved into bobsleigh and luge where he qualified for the Winter Olympics in 1980. His ambitions were curtailed after a life-threatening illness but Peter was determined to continue to enjoy his love of speed and began racing in Sports 2000 in 1984. He has enjoyed it ever since, and today drives a Duratec.
