#18 - Sam Ahern & Alex Landry

This week we sit down with, in the words of Jacob Kao, the slow end of the new Massachusetts state record holders for the 4x200 and runner up for the Adidas 2021 Indoor Nationals Sam Ahern and Alex Landry. Ahern who got 2nd in the open 200m and 1st in the 60m at the same Nationals meet talks about how he started in track, fell in love, and hasn't looked back since. Landry, the sophomore of the group is now the fastest ranked sophomore in the nation and finished in the top 15 for the open 200m with Ahern. Going through the race and that whole weekend, along with talk about the infamous Acton-Boxborough coaching staff and team culture, the training that they have put in, and what they are looking forward to with the upcoming years and seasons. Fun talk, overall a great episode with some laughs and some real talk about running and its community.
