Growing up, I can think back to a time when I thought that I’d be a NFL or NBA player. Most High had other plans for me, after my growth stopped at 5’7, but I digress. There are many underlining issues in the two sports I love the most, but we’re going to look at College and Pro Football specifically. Is there racism in the coaching and front office ranks within the NFL? Is the lack of Black NFL Head Coach a byproduct of the lack of Black Head Coaches in College Football? Are Black Coordinators so few that it’s hindering the promotion of Black Coordinators becoming Head Coaches? Today, these are some of the questions we’ll SpeakEasy on among other issues that I find aren’t talked about enough also.
