The History of Interventional Radiology with Dr. Barry Katzen by Jagteshwar Sandhu & Benjamin Roush
On today's episode Ben & Jag interview Dr. Barry T. Katzen, a singular pioneer of Interventional Radiology. We discuss his career, and what motivated him to become an innovator. We explore what he attributes to his passion for clinical medicine and how he was able to create the gold standard for clinical IR & multi-disciplinary clinic in Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. We also examine where live case education began and how it has become the cornerstone of the International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy.
This interview was completed on site at ISET 2019 & we want to thank the wonderful team of people that helped to make this possible.
Hosts: Benjamin Roush, Jagteshwar Sandhu & Hannah Clode
