This not another self help podcast, I'm not interested in telling you how to live your life, what you should do or how you should deal with your challenges.
What I am interested in is talking to people with stories to tell. People who have been through adversity and used it to thrive and not just survive.
I'm interested in hearing how people turn a "failure" into a turning point. I'm interested in the moments when they said "enough" and what they did from there.
And so this podcast will be about stories, adversity, having a laugh at yourself and some ah-ha moments along the way

During my first ever episode of the soul seekers with Ellen, I chat with Anna Frankland, owner of Reform Pilates. She is a mum, business owner, pilates teacher, student, incredible swimmer and all around amazing person. I first came across Anna a number of years ago when we were both doing triathlons, actually everyone knew Anna as she was consistently winning and smiling as she did so. Then I got to know her as we both swam together and I was always awestruck by how happy she was at 6am! The more time I spent with her the more I came to admire her pragmatism, her optimism and her willingness to laugh at life. And then I knew, there was more to this woman than the outer accomplishments, this came from a deeper experience and that had me intrigued, I knew this woman had a story to tell and wisdom to share and that's why I asked her to be the first guest on this podcast.
Some of the things we cover are:
Dealing with the inner conflict - staying at home v's pursuing a career
How two screaming babies in a bassinet on a long haul flight lead to one of the biggest decisions of their lives
Client story - Pilates can inspire you to go for a promotion!
Pilates builds self esteem, Anna and her team help you to change your perspective to focus on what you can do
Annas definition of success meant she said no to a opening a second studio
Her tips for work - family balance - “You can do anything but you can't do everything"
Surrounding herself with the right people
Sometimes success is letting go
Modelling self-care for your children and not modelling the pursuit of goals
