Our guest today is Mariem, she is a graphic designer who focuses on Arabic lettering and type design in her work.

She has found herself in using Arabic letters as the main component in her different art pieces, as she believes in the power of Arabic letters as a visual language in expressing and delivering messages.

She has not only been using Arabic letters in her art but also expressing fragments of cultural heritage in her work to highlight the importance of preserving one’s identity.

Her designs visualize songs, poems, thoughts, and daily diaries, using different materials and mediums in doing so.

We're discussing how she has reached this stage in life, how she has come to find herself in this specific type of graphic design, how she finds her inspiration, and so much more.
