Nina is forced to marry the head of the Russian Bratva to save her fathers life. She decides that because she can't control the situation she is in, she is going to just run with it. As Roman and her start spending more time together, feelings start to arise. They are both attracted to eachother but to Roman she is a means to an end and Nina doesn't want to be married to a murderer and criminal. Obviously the mafia underworld is front and center in Roman's life, Nina just isn't sure if their feelings are enough for her to forget that.
