With the growth of algorithm development in healthcare over the past couple decades, there have been increasing problems surrounding both the security of patient data, as well as the intellectual property being developed. The coalescing of these issues has put a major roadblock in the development and testing of new clinical algorithms. However, a company co-founded by Bob, called BeekeeperAI, is paving the way forward by facilitating a zero trust interaction between algorithm developers and data stewards. In this environment, the validity of these algorithms can be assessed in the context of real-world data, all without algorithm developers having to expose their algorithm or data stewards having to release data.
