This week The Sleep Science Pod explores the effects of everyday sleep deprivation. We consider the evidence that sleeping too little – around five rather than eight hours a night – affects our behaviour and performance, and how this is a more common sleep problem than sleeping too much.
Guest Lauren Wilkinson shares her experiences of struggling to switch off and we consider not only the multitude of influences on our sleep health, but also some helpful tips for overcoming such struggles.
