In this episode, I sit down with Deborah Terkley, Founder of L’ada Soaps and Scents a family-run business born from passion and lived experience. Rooted in sustainability and integrity, every product is made with deep intention.Ingredients are ethically sourced, packaging is environmentally conscious, and each batch is handcrafted to ensure the highest quality.
These aren’t just soaps—they’re luxurious, long-lasting skincare essentials made for real people with real sensitivities.
And then one day, seemingly out of no where my guest wasdiagnosed with thyroid cancer. And even after receiving that life-altering news, her commitment to her community didn’t waver. She adapted her business, stayed connected to those who rely on her, and continued building her brand. Asshe shares in this episode, that purpose gave her something to hold onto, and it helped carry her through one of the hardest chapters of her life.
In our conversation, we talk about why not all naturalproducts are created equal, how she rose after being failed by the medical system, and why she’s fiercely passionate about educating others on low-tox living.
Enjoy the episode.
