Ep 163: Harvey Virdi Talks Happy Birthday Sunita and Hollyoaks
My guest this episode is actress and writer Harvey Virdi. You might recognise her as Misbah Maalik in Hollyoaks.
A veteran in the arts and entertainment scene, Harvey has starred in Coronation Street, Casualty, Holby City, Doctors, Citizen Khan, The Windsors, and my personal favourite, Class Dismissed! She's also written several stage plays and has just revived the hugely successful 'Happy Birthday Sunita' for Rifco Theatre Company.
Harvey tells me about her journey into acting, what it was like working with Shabana Azmi, why she wants to play a baddie, and what we can expect from 'Happy Birthday Sunita' the 2023 tour which begins on 5th May.
