The Singapore-Africa Conversation is the official podcast of the NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies, a practice-oriented think tank that conducts research, fosters networks, and builds capacity for doing business in Africa. Established in 2014 with an endowment from private sector donors and seed funding from the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), CAS is the only one of its kind in South-East Asia. The aim of this podcast is to try and unpack the economic transformation of Africa from an Asian point of view.

Dr Ibrahim Assane Mayaki has served as the Chief Executive Officer at the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD for more than a decade. Under his watch, the agency has become a spearhead for accelerating regional integration. In this episode he tells Nozipho Tshabalala and Amit Jain what it would take for Africa to achieve the vision of a well-integrated and prosperous continent in the next 40 years.
