
Katelin Farnsworth is a writer living in Melbourne. Katelin’s Manuscript Found Again was shortlisted for the Penguin Literary Prize 2020, and she was awarded a mentorship from the Australian Society of Authors in 2021. She won first place in the Rachel Fuanri Prize for Fiction in 2015 and her work has appeared in The Age, Mascara Literary Review, Overland, The Slow Canoe, Lip Mag, Tincture Journal, The Sydney Morning Herald, Award Winning Australian Writing, SBS Voices, among others.
In our chat, we talk about the challenges of writing during lockdowns, the emotional abuse Katelin experienced in her teens and early twenties, and about learning to trust herself again after almost 4 years of this difficult relationship.
