In today’s episode I share my conversation with a dear sister, Aleja Grajeda. Aleja, a Colorado native, lives in Albuquerque, NM. She is a mother, small business owner, community herbalist, reiki practitioner, doula, and certified INNATE Postpartum Care provider. She also provides folk healing services to her community when called to do so.
In this episode we get into:
- Aleja’s role as a necessary rebel who came in to reorient her family line
- Breaking out of the rigid box of spirituality and reintegrating Christ consciousness back into her daily life
- Unlearning people pleasing and embodying our true authenticity
- The Old Testament translation of the word “WOMAN”
- Releasing the need for parental acceptance
- The syncretic interweaving of Christianity and indigenous traditions
- The practical and humble application of our spiritual practices and healing offerings
- Questioning who is “allowed” to access specific medicines, lineages, and wisdom traditions
This episode is for anyone who has ever questioned the “legitimacy” of their spiritual path based on other people’s opinions and perspectives. May you continue to find your way to spiritual authenticity…whatever that looks like for you! 🩵
