I Got Up at 8 AM for Pastries, Only to Be Betrayed!

"If you guys want to join my cult, let me know. You can send inquiries to seafooddietpod@gmail.com." -Bob

The latest episode of the See Food Diet Podcast with Bob, Kate, and Matt is LIVE! Get ready for a wild ride where they eat food, gamble for it, and then argue about it!

Here are the highlights you DON'T want to miss:

  • Pastry Betrayal & The Great Littleton's Fruit Pastry Saga 🥐

    • Bob calls Kate OUT! He wakes up at 8 AM, to go to Littleton's bakery for Kate's coveted fruit pastries. Only to find NONE!
    • Later, Kate and her sibling Erin score the last two pastries, leaving Bob empty-handed! Kate's elaborate excuses involving dog-sitting, a farmers market, Nordstrom Cafe, and "too cold to travel" pastries are a must-hear!
    • The Verdict: Kate, Erin, and even Millie ate the lemon and clementine mousse pastries. Kate reviews them against the Hilliard ones, noting Littleton's true mousse texture, cake base, and fruit puree. She even promises to share future flavors with Bob (and Erin) after the guilt!
  • Taco Bell's "Decades Menu" - A Rollercoaster of Flavors! 🌮

    • Kate dives into the returning menu items: Doritos Locos Taco Cool Ranch (a hit!), the Double-Decker Taco (back and still messy), and the Chili Cheese Burrito.
    • Warning! Matt delivers a scathing review of the Chili Cheese Burrito, likening its flavor to "diarrhea"! Seriously, you have to hear this moment.
    • They also try the Caramel Apple Empanada, which is described as "insanely buttery with a weird apple sweetness".
    • Plus, a side quest into the correct pronunciation of "empanada" (and "caramel")!
  • Snack Reviews: Hits, Misses, and "Pee in a Cup" 🤢

    • Jeni's Ice Cream Bars: A review of the vanilla caramel sundae bar, praised for quality chocolate but criticized for "papery" almond skins and not enough caramel. The consensus: "If you see it, eat it.
    • Sparkling Agua Fresca: This pineapple-lime drink smells like "pee in a cup," "beer," or a "fart"! The hosts advise drinking it from the can to avoid the smell.
    • McDonald's Golden Sauce vs. Grimace Shake's Cousin: Kate loves the new McDonald's golden sauce, but the new "McDonald Shake" (blue raspberry with cotton candy whipped cream) is a major fail – "not good," "play-dohy," "tastes like medicine," and "didn't taste like anything". Their new rating: "If you see it, don't eat it"!
  • Random Food Adventures & Debates:

    • Matt's mom makes delicious Scottish Cullen Skink with smoked salmon.
    • Bob talks about his mission to learn more about Chinese cuisine and avoid being "predictable" with fried rice. He also experienced terrible bread at Jimmy John's.
    • Fast Food Opinions: Raising Cane's has great sauce but soggy chicken and fries. And the Mountain Dew Midnight tastes like "fruity windshield wiper fluid" or "Bath and Body Works perfume".
  • Games & Deep Thoughts:

    • Eliminate One Snack: The hosts play a game, debating classic snacks like potato chips, chocolate chip cookies, brownies (super controversial!), popcorn, pretzels, and more! Who eliminates french fries?!
    • Personality & Predictions: They play "what animal best describes my personality" (Kate's a "communal cat" or "meerkat," Bob's a "wise owl," Matt's a "cub"), "what would I never do" (cliff jumping, clowning class, gun show), and discuss famous cults (and who would join one!).

Tune in for all the chaos, food insights, and laughs!

Remember: "If you see food, eat it!"
