Former Liverpool captain Gemma Bonner will always be a legend at the club after leading the team to two league titles in 2013 & 2014. The defender returned to the club after spells at Manchester City & Racing Louisville in the USA in January and hopes for another successful stint at the club. Originally from Leeds, Gemma is a lifelong Liverpool fan and after her success in her first spell is an adopted scouser a title she is proud of. The former England international joins The Scouse Code and discusses many subject including turning down the captaincy in her first spell, lifting the both WSL league titles and her dream of pulling on the red shirt. Bonner was speaking to Olympic Taekwondo medallist Bianca Cook and former BBC Sports reporter Paul Garrity at Tranmere Rovers training ground in Birkenhead.
