Dr. Strom serves as the Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory and Director of Echocardiographic Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His research focuses on the relationship between cardiac structure and function and its impact on health outcomes, as well as optimizing the use of cardiac imaging in clinical practice.

With over 100 peer-reviewed publications, he is a recognized leader in the field. He has served on the Board of Directors for the International Contrast Ultrasound Society and the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), where he was the first ASE Leadership Academy member to join the board. Currently, he is co-chair of the ASE Scientific Sessions Abstract Committee and chair of the Image Guide Echo Registry Committee.
