First and foremost they chat about how to watch and follow the Tokyo Games, as Sandison will be on the mic for CBC. He comments on his career and what makes the Olympics so special. Other topics explored include the pipeline of men's hockey players in Canada, and the importance of experience at major games. Season one of the Scoop will follow the Men's National Team on their Road to Tokyo. Each episode will feature an interview with an athlete or coach and will be centred around their hockey experiences and their preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
