Season one of the Scoop will follow the Men's National Team on their Road to Tokyo. Each episode will feature an interview with an athlete or coach and will be centred around their hockey experiences and their preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games. 

In the pilot episode, Field Hockey Canada's Kevin Underhill interviews 2016 Olympian, Gordon Johnston. Johnston talks about his youth hockey experience and how family played a role in his hockey upbringing; then he highlights major career accomplishments including the 2016 Games; and closes with the preparation for this year's Olympics and how the team is shaping up.
