Mark Ormrod MBE joined me on the show to share his powerful and inspiring story. Xmas Eve 2007, Royal Marine Mark Ormrod triggered an IED, Mark became the British Army's first and only triple amputee to survive the Afghan Conflict, loosing both legs and one arm. Mark discussing how crucial mindset was in overcoming an adversity which was so rare it was a challenge to find anyone who had gone through anything similar. In this episode we start from the beginning, talking about Mark's journey into the military and particularly earning the iconic Green Beret worn by the Royal Marines. Mark also shares his experiences not only competing in the Invictus Games but being a Gold Medalist and receiving a special recognition. This has got to be one of my favourite interviews of all time, having someone like Mark on the show was a true honour and the ultimate privilege.
