The Scarf Bergara Wore (TSBW), established in 2015, is the original Stockport County fans podcast, created by County fans, for County fans. Hosted by Russ Johnson, alongside Waggie, Dan Culverwell, Jimmy Harmer, Andy Reding, and Stu Hope, we proudly operate independently from any club-affiliated organisations.

Our podcast features guests from all facets of County life, including players, directors, and, most importantly, the fans. Over the years, weโ€™ve expanded to produce two episodes per week, partnered annually with a charity, and covered the ladiesโ€™ team. As part of the TalkSport fan network, we offer regular giveaways and occasionally host live events.

Entirely volunteer-driven, TSBW is a true passion project. We may have a small house, but we have a big heart.

S11 E37: A NWFA Winning Podcast!!

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Welcome to This Weekโ€™s Award-Winning Podcast!

Russ, Waggie, and Andy are joined by Fan Debutant โ€” Lewis, who had his first County match aged just 6 in 2006โ€ฆ and instantly made us all feel ancient! ๐Ÿ˜…

We put Lewis through his debut questions โ€” great to hear some favourite moments from when we were โ€œsh**โ€... erm, not very good! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Then we dive into:

โšฝ๏ธ Winning Awards โ€” itโ€™s not for everyone! ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ† The Tranmere victory in the FA Cup

๐Ÿ“… The 2nd Round draw โ€” home to Cambridge!

๐Ÿ”ต The Hatters Derby on Saturday

Of course, it wouldnโ€™t be a full episode without Random Sh*t of the Week โ€” and this time itโ€™s a joint effort from Andy and Waggie!

This week: a two-round trivia quiz!

๐Ÿงข Round 1: Hats R Us

๐Ÿ… Round 2: Footy-Related Awards and Winners!

๐ŸŒŸ A Quick Reminder:

Weโ€™re in the Final 15 for Best Football League Podcast at the Football Content Awards 2025! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ‘‰ Find out more โ€” and cast your vote here: Football Content Awards โ€“ Northwest Finalists 2025
