123: How to stop wasting so much money on food

On this ep we're talking food waste. According to research from OzHarvest the average person wastes about 113kg of food every year. That's a front row prop in the NRL! On to discuss this is Monique Llewellyn, the national campaign manager for the food charity. We discuss the research, why people waste so much food, the 'leftover epidemic', grocery prices, what OzHarvest is, and practical tips to avoid food waste.

Plus we speak to Denise Raward, resident finance journalist, about Domain's recent report that found there's basically no such thing as affordable housing left! Well isn't that depressing. Luckily, Denise shared some of the takeaway recommendations for meaningfully improving affordability, besides just chucking another subsidy or carrot at first home buyers.
