This week, we're welcoming a SUPER special guest to the Vortex: Elle's sweet soul sister, Kyla Romero. As you’ll soon discover, Kyla and Elle share the gift of walking through the world with a high level of WONDER for this life and all that it holds - and sometimes, it sends them into a spiral of pure existentialism, lolz. We love them for it! They immediately have a full-stop moment for how meta it is to have a conversation for the sake of presenting it to an audience. That sends them into some profound musings on social media, parasocial relationships, imposter syndrome, and enoughness.
They touch on how not only valid but essential it is to listen to your body when a school or work situation isn't right for you. They also hold space for a PROFOUND reflection on the ways spirituality can become detrimental when we only focus on the "5d," AKA the love and light. Kyla beautifully reminds us that light needs shadow, and shares vulnerably about how she discovered this through the process of grieving her mom.
