This episode is recorded during another sunrise walk with my dog Chad—and it’s as raw and real as the questions I’m holding.
This week, I went to my first church since I was 14 and bought my very first Bible—not because I suddenly found religion, but because something deeper is stirring in me.
We explore the intersection of God and shamanism, the grief of spiritual exile, and the beauty of reclaiming our direct connection to the Divine without needing an intermediary. I share reflections on my original shamanic immersion, my kiddo’s experience at a rural Florida Pride event, and the unexpected tenderness of a Unity church community.
I also reveal the seed of something new: a different kind of church. One that isn’t about Sunday services or hierarchy, but about teaching people to connect with God through everything—nature, plants, spirit, land, shadow, and light.
This isn’t a training to become a shaman.
This is a path back to the original connection.
If you’ve ever felt like an outcast or spiritually homeless, this conversation is for you.
