The Trials are also one-shot RPG Sessions of various systems. The difference (in regards to Field Trips) is that we are more focused on explaining the rules and highlighting the system. We want these episodes to be a way for listeners to get a sense of what a session in these systems would be like in order for them to decide if they want to try the game for themselves and/or help them learn the rules of a new system. Hello and welcome to the Trial of Beam Saber a soon to be Kickstartering RPG from Austin Ramsay.
Beam Saber is a Forged In The Dark game about the pilots of powerful machines in a war that dominates every facet of life. They are trying to do their part, then get out physically and mentally intact. The organizations that perpetuate The War throughout all of known space are too incomprehensibly huge to take down. There is no “winning” The War, there is only surviving it. Hopefully you can help others get out too.
