Eliminate Tension & Overtightness

Eliminate Tension & Overtightness

Want to start making your swing look like it's easy and not so mechanical? Overtightness or tension may be your biggest hinderance of that.

We overtighten for a number of reasons, but mainly it's due to doubt in ourselves. If we're thinking too much about how to swing the way you want your body is tightening up as a stress response. This is how you start swinging very mechanically and feels like you're "trying" to hit the ball rather than having a smooth swinging motion.

You'll hear two quick things you can do on the range is get aware of where that tightness is and then focus on overtightening (seems counterintuitive) to achieve a more relaxed state.
