Teams of all kinds have standards, including Families as the ultimate teams. At the head of true families are fathers and mothers or two individuals making continued committed contributions to a child’s or children’s welfare so they can grow to be solid, strong, focused, disciplined adults someday. Sounds pretty easy… but indeed as many have learned… not as easy as it looks. This episode explores what standards are and how, when effectively placed and followed, they can help all manner of people, but especially fathers make their way to accomplishing their goals of raising children to grasp the baton. My profound wish and hope and even prayer for our world is that we can keep moving forward with the kinds of standards that can make us effective and even proud.
