Nuclear Family Fantasy's music is an exploration into the resulting impact of being raised with the illusion that the nuclear family is still the ideal. Their songs convey the struggles with addiction, frustration, and heartbreak that sometimes result from trying to survive in a world that still wants us to believe in the attainability of the American Dream.
