As an avid EV enthusiast, I had a recent thought about their purpose. Are they really for "saving the environment" or could something bigger be at play? From the pandemic, we've seen immense governmental oversight into the day-to-day activities of the average citizen. Where we go, who we're with, and even what we buy are now being looked at with a closer eye. Russia has become the scapegoat for which blame is being unrightfully placed on the cause of rising fuel prices, but with gas prices on the rise nevertheless, there has been a renewed push for electric vehicles. The question now becomes: Are gas prices deliberately high in order to shift people into these electric-dependent modes of transportation so that the Controlling Party can better regulate how far we travel, when we travel, and even where we travel? The more electric vehicles people depend on, the more they depend on electricity for their charging stations. We've already seen power supplies being exhausted on a global scale with no relief in sight. My conspiracy theory is that the artificially fabricated dependency on electric vehicles will become a new test for the powers at be to attempt and dictate citizens' ability to travel freely.
