Awais Spall | Peptides, Gut Health & Honor Traditions with a Modern Twist
In this episode, I speak with Awais Spall FDN-P is a Functional Medicine practitioner based out of Venice, CA. Prior to becoming a health practitioner, Awais worked as a formulation chemist consulting various companies in the development of functional foods. As a product formulator, Awais combined his knowledge of formulation chemistry with his background in Ayurvedic Herbalism. Awais has inherited much of his knowledge around Ayurveda from his grandfather, who was a renowned herbalist in Pakistan.
Awais eventually left the formulation world to start Integrative Oasis, a Microbiome-focused health practice. At Integrative Oasis, Awais combines the cutting edge science of Functional Medicine with Ayurveda to address various gut health issues. His practice integrates peptide medicine, bio-regulators, exosomes, ozone therapy, plant medicines, polyvagal interventions, among various biohacking technologies. Through his growing practice and participation in research collectives, he has found that the most profound and transformative healing is possible at the intersection of cutting edge science and ancient wisdom.
