The fourth studio album from British folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling, Once I Was an Eagle (2013), opens with a sequence that weaves seamlessly from one track to the next. The four-song sequence, referred to as "Suite", is the subject of today's episode, in which Mandy recounts her relationship to the song. Can personal experience turn you off to an entire genre of music? What does it take to recontextualize a work of art and make it part of your story? Also, Mandy asks Mio a question about the 2016 Barcelona Figure Skating Grand Prix.
DISCLAIMER: We encountered some technical issues in recovering the audio track from our usual recording platform, so some of our early episodes this summer may feature less-than-average sound quality. We apologize for the issue and hope to fix it soon!
