Ep 3 | Ditch the vision board; here’s what you need to make the most of 2021.
(Caution: If you have kids listening in, I drop an f-bomb at 08:19)
This episode was recorded in late Jan 2021, but owing to a bunch of other personal commitments, I had to delay publishing it. I'm back now though and with a topic that is still so relevant 4 months into 2021.
There are many of us who go through every year with the immense pressure to 'make something of the year' and 'crush goals', yet find ourselves unable to do so no matter how hard we try (How many Eric Thomas videos have you watched to get yourself amped up?). I lived that way for 9 years between 2010 - 2019, and with each passing year, I only grew increasingly frustrated with myself and my inability to deliver on the expectations & goals I had for me. However in early 2020, a simple shift in my perspective resulted in a sudden surge of momentum and output and this stayed for the rest of the year. This momentum was brought about because of the level of clarity & confidence that said perspective had brought me and as a result, it also allowed me to remain consistent with output. And ever since, I've begun to steadily chip away at some big dreams that have eluded me all these years! And most importantly, I'm the most focused, content and happy I have ever been. However this perspective could not have come any other way except with life experience & time. This episode offers insight into the details of what I discovered were the missing links for me and I have a good feeling many 20 to 30 something-year-olds will relate with this too. Do let me know if this insight resonates with you or encourages you OR if intend to try what I speak about OR are doing something similar. Also please leave me a review & subscribe to this podcast if you got value out of it and share it with your community of friends & family, a 20-30 yr old in your life or even someone you may know who needs help keeping life in perspective. Appreciate the time you've taken in advance.
