#27 - THE BOONDOCK SAINTS (1999) - Phil's #2 Movie
"One of the worst movies I have ever had the displeasure of seeing." said AntonioE. on Metacritic. Have you seen this morally questionable action packed rosary clad, shell dropping, wish making, Irish folklore? Well, come watch the boys question Phil and his Northern Exposures to make this movie in our top 5... And if you don't know what The Boondock Saints is about: The Boondock Saints is a 1999 American vigilante action thriller film written and directed by Troy Duffy. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus as fraternal twins Connor and Murphy MacManus, who become vigilantes after killing two members of the Russian Mafia in self-defense. After both experience an epiphany, the brothers, together with their friend "Funny Man" Rocco (David Della Rocco), set out to rid their home city of Boston of crime and evil, all the while being pursued by FBI special agent Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe). Find out who likes this movie and who doesn't and how many Reels it deserves! All that and a whole lot of laughs from some really funny people.
