RAYE has been speaking her mind through music since she was 14 years old. Her break came after she wrote a song about a house party, called ‘Hotbox’ which found its way to Olly Alexander from Years and Years and the deal was done. RAYE has written and collaborated with Jax Jones, David Guetta and Joel Corry and in 2019, fulfilled her dream of writing a song for Beyonce for The Lion King: The Gift album.
Nell gets real with RAYE about her love of rollercoasters, releasing music independently and why sometimes it’s more important for people to hate your songs.
