Nicola Roberts is a singer songwriter and was a member of Girls Aloud, who at their height were the biggest selling girl group of the 21st Century. Between 2003-2009, the band released 6 platinum albums and scored 20 consecutive top 10 singles (including 4 number ones). Girls Aloud were nominated for 5 BRIT Awards, winning Best Single for The Promise in 2009. Nicola released her debut solo album ‘Cinderella's Eyes’ in 2011 to critical acclaim and has written for Iggy Azalea, Professor Green, Little Mix and many more. In 2020, she won The Masked Singer as Queen Bee.
Jordan and Nicola discuss life in the spotlight with Girls Aloud and her treasured memories of Sarah Harding. She recalls the wild night the band won their BRIT and her awkward interview with Lady Gaga in 2011. Nicola calls this chat as her favourite podcast interview ever.
