Desde mi punto de vista, en gran parte tiene que ver con que nosotros, como consumidores, leads y huéspedes evolucionamos de forma constante, y esto obliga a las empresas tecnológicas a crear herramientas de marketing que sigan el mismo ritmo o a ir incluso algunos compases por delante. Pero no sólo las herramientas se ven obligadas, sino también los hoteles. Mi parte favorita de este cambio es que esto no ha acabado. Y no lo hará. Hoy vamos a descubrir un poco más sobre qué es marketing personalizado y cómo podemos aplicarlo al marketing hotelero. La mayoría de las empresas se mueven en un nivel de personalización básica cuando crean campañas de email marketing. ¿Es esto suficiente? Un estudio reciente de Pure360 sobre por qué los consumidores exigen que las empresas vayan más allá de la personalización básica arroja que no. El 93% de encuestados considera que la personalización básica de títulos de emails es poco efectiva ¿Cambiaron las normas? No. Como consumidores, hemos madurado. Por ejemplo, según el mismo estudio, es poco probable que el 92% de los consumidores le haga caso a las campañas de email marketing enviadas a ellos si la personalización es solo el nombre. Por supuesto, hay que tomar en consideración cada caso. Así mismo, vemos que las campañas de cumpleaños son menos eficaces que lo que solían ser.
