The Random Wrestling Review is an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour which focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. The podcast is currently trawling through the history of Wrestlemania, covering each event one-by-one, taking in the good, the bad, the ugly and the nonsense. Previously, we featured shows stretching from 1984 through to 2021 from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Ben, Tom, Matt and Stephen as they seek out the perfect wrestling show. Listeners beware, this show is not suitable for young ears!

SummerSlam 2002 sees WWE slightly after the Attitude Era but not quite yet Ruthless Aggression and that's not the only thing that sees the company in transition. After 4 years out of action, Shawn Michaels returned to the ring against Triple H in a non-sanctioned match while in the main event, The Rock was back off to Hollywood but on the way out of the door, was putting over 'The Next Big Thing' Brock Lesnar. All that and an opener for the ages between Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio.
The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Stephen, Matt and Tinky.
