Kirk returns to Strange New Worlds, having been newly promoted to 1st officer, gets his first real shot at the Captain's chair....there's just one problem....he freezes. As the Scavenger ship or "Destroyer of Worlds", as it is referred to by La'an, appears we see a very Death Star like explosion of the planet that the U.S.S. Faragut has arrived to survey/explore.
