Why being intentional in how we create and release our art matters, striking a balance between our creative pursuits and our mental health, weaving rest into our day to day lives, music as therapy as well as the pitfalls, developing a sense of feeling that we’re enough, celebrating our wins whether they seem small or big and getting creative with that process, taking time off social media to create more intentional impact and staying humble and kind.
Appleby is a quiet creative from Miami whose vulnerability lives on the surface of his artistry. although he finds it difficult to describe the genre of music he makes, it's fair to say it's nostalgia wrapped in honesty with a hint of glitter and hope. appleby is someone who chooses words carefully and has spent much of the last two years in silence. in the time away, he's been working to regain his sense of self-worth and reconnect with the inner child he felt was dying. In his mind, he's in the middle of becoming a butterfly.
